2014 Comic Con Weekend
Comic Con has become huge in the Denver area. This year I was unable to get a Saturday ticket (the most popular and best day to attend) as they were sold out! Even without a ticket, there was much to see around the Denver Convention Center. This year also included several Comic Con related festivals that are pictured below!
Comic Con Kickoff Party
The Comic Con Kickoff Party was held at the Mile High Comics Warehouse in north Denver. You can learn more about Mile High Comics here.
Comic Con Artist After Party (Friday) and Cosplay at the Denver Comic Con (Friday & Saturday)
The Comic Con Artists After Party was held at the Hall of Justice Art Gallery on Sante Fe in the Arts District. The Hall of Justice is a one of a kind gallery in the Denver area. Cosplay After Dark
Cos Play after Dark was an event that was held at the Exdo Event Center on June 14th. This event featured the musical guest, Total Ghost, aerialists, pyro performers, and a $1,000 grand prize costume contest. The costume contest was judged by Sara Katz-Scher, Neil Williams, Matthew Eberle, and Isaac Pierce from The Adventure Effect in Los Angeles. Click on pic to see larger, higher quality image.
